The 4th of July marks the busiest time of the year for Keith's Ice Cream Truck. Capozzi noted that events like these can draw up to three to four hundred customers, all eager for a refreshing dessert to cool down in the summer heat.
Families eagerly awaited the fireworks, finding joy in the opportunity to bond and create memories. One attendee expressed, "I'm happy because I'm together with my son for this special event," capturing the essence of the holiday.
In addition to the ice cream and fireworks, New Haven's celebration featured various events throughout the day. The fireworks launched from East Rock Park, with the best viewing locations at the Wilbur Cross High School parking lot.
