The New York City dining scene is about to get a whole lot more exciting. Introducing the latest culinary sensation to hit the Big Apple: Wonder Ghost Kitchen. This innovative new concept, spearheaded by billionaire entrepreneur Marc Lore, is set to revolutionize the way we think about takeout and delivery.

Meet Bobby Flay: A Culinary Powerhouse

At the forefront of this star-studded lineup is none other than celebrity chef Bobby Flay, whose Bobby Flay Steak will be among the 10 restaurants featured in the ghost kitchen. For those not in the know, Flay has established himself as a culinary powerhouse, with numerous restaurants across the United States and TV appearances on shows like "Iron Chef" and "Beat Bobby Flay." And now, he's bringing his signature style to the Upper West Side with Wonder Ghost Kitchen.

Clam Castle, the beloved seafood restaurant located on the shoreline, has undergone a major transformation under its new ownership by food truck tycoon Greg Sharon. The 1,200-square-foot restaurant, which has served classic seafood fare for over 60 years, will now be known as "Clam Castle Featuring Taco Pacifico." This new concept brings together fresh Mexican fare from Taco Pacifico with Clam Castle's classic offerings to create a unique blend of flavors and cuisines that is sure to delight the taste buds of both seafood and Mexican food lovers.

Scatz Catering Group, the owners of Holy Smokez BBQ Food Truck and Twisted Phillyz Food Truck, began in 2013 as a jazz lounge that showcased New Orleans style food and Jazz music. After a few years, the owners took a break, but eventually came back stronger and more flavorful with their catering business. The company offers four different flavors of wings: a dry rub, a smoke barbecue, an island jerk wing, and a buffalo wing. The focus of the company is to make the food enjoyable for everyone, regardless of age or taste, by making it flavorful and spicy without being too overpowering.

"Our dry rub is our own personal blend," says the owner. "We try to make it just flavorful enough and spicy enough for everyone to enjoy.

The food delivery industry has become a staple in the modern day society, providing convenience for customers and expanding the reach for restaurants. However, not everything is perfect in this industry. In February 2023, the manager of Athen's Family Restaurant in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, reported that food delivery drivers were taking advantage of their access to the restaurant and helping themselves to takeout they should not be taking. This phenomenon, referred to as "dining and dashing," is not only upsetting for the restaurant owner but also has a negative impact on the bottom line and loyal customers.

As Riko's Pizza, a rapidly expanding pizzeria franchise, fights a potential eviction from one of its two restaurants on its home turf of Stamford, Connecticut, the company is taking legal action to protect its interests. In a Thursday morning filing, Riko's asked the Stamford Housing Session to compel its landlord TPW Partners to provide a detailed list of the specific rent it claims is owed, before Riko's files a formal response to the eviction claim.

A Twist To The Legal Battle

Adding a twist to the legal battle, the landlord for Riko's Pizza, TPW Partners, is led by Prakash Wadhwani of New Canaan. Wadhwani is himself an experienced franchisee, with several successful Mooyah Burgers and Kennedy's All-American Barber Club locations operating in Connecticut. This adds an interesting dynamic to the case, as the landlord and tenant are both experienced players in the franchise industry.
