From New Jersey to Huntington Beach

Born November 14, 1964, in Paterson, New Jersey, to an orthopedic surgeon father and an actress mother, Warburton was raised in a devout Catholic household before moving to Huntington Beach, California. He briefly studied marine biology at Orange Coast College before chasing modeling gigs—and ultimately landed in acting.

Patrick’s TV breakthrough came as David Puddy on Seinfeld (1995–98): the unflappable mechanic whose “That’s right” became instant catch phrase. He headlined FOX’s live-action The Tick (2001–02), later producing its Amazon revival in 2016 then anchored sitcoms like Less than Perfect (2003–06) and Rules of Engagement.
