The Woodstock Agricultural Society is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Woodstock, Connecticut, founded in 1858 to preserve and promote the state’s agricultural heritage. As the organizer of the annual Woodstock Fair, the Society provides a platform for 4-H and FFA youth, local farmers, artisans, and educators to engage with the public and celebrate rural life. Through exhibitions, livestock showcases, home arts, and family-centered entertainment, the Society fosters community spirit and agricultural literacy. The Woodstock Agricultural Society also maintains the historic fairgrounds and welcomes year-round support from volunteers, sponsors, and the broader community.
