Welcome to the vibrant start of the Connecticut Food Truck Battles Festival, where culinary excellence and musical enchantment meet amidst the scenic backdrop of Wolcott Festival Park. As we light up the evening with the spirit of competition and celebration, prepare for an immersive experience that sets the tone for an unforgettable weekend.

Weekend Performance Schedule:

Band Main Stage

Friday May 17, 2024 - 4 PM - 8 PM: Dive into the heart of Caribbean culture with Tanbulaytay, offering a blend of reggae rhythms that promise to transport you to the sandy beaches and vibrant sunsets of the islands. This ensemble, featuring talents from five different islands including Jamaica, will fill the park with classic reggae hits and party music infused with a reggae vibe. If you are 21 or over, you may want to grab an ice cold Rum Punch or Spiked Fresh Squeezed Lemonade from the World Famous Yucatan Liquor Stand!

Street Performer Theater

Stop by our Street Performer Theater and check out some of the top Magicians, illusionists, Fire eaters, Ventriloquists, Freak Shows, and comedians on our Theater Stage under the pavilion. Shows happen periodically during the day so just drop in any time!

Food Eating Battles Stage hosted by Comedian Dave Reilly & AJ Man (WPLR)!

It’s our 3rd annual Food eating Challenge Competition. Happening at various times throughout the day you will witness human gluttony as you have never seen before. This is not for the weak of heart! It gets ugly and messy! We have both a kids and adults competition so stop by and sign up on the day of the event!

Culinary Showdown:

The festival grounds will come alive with the aroma of dishes from Connecticut's elite food trucks as they embark on a gastronomic battle to win your hearts and votes. This culinary adventure invites you to taste, judge, and crown the champions, setting the stage for a weekend of flavorful triumphs. Who will be our 2024 FoodTruck Grand Champion?

Not Just a Festival, But a Feast for the Senses!

Engage in epic food eating contests hosted by the comedic genius Dave Reilly, where laughter and competitive spirit intertwine. Explore the endless fun with thrilling rides and games, and don't miss the opportunity to discover unique treasures in our Vendors Village.
