About the Delaware State Fair

As a volunteer-supported, non-profit organization, the Delaware State Fair is committed to promoting our agricultural heritage ? and values. A key part of our mission is to create an immersive experience that fosters learning about livestock ?, horticulture ?, and agriculture. Special emphasis is placed on youth development programs such as 4-H and FFA.

What to Expect?

The fair's main attraction is, of course, the annual 10-day fair that brings the community together ?. It serves as a showcase for the talents of our community's youth and citizens, providing a means for them to display their skills and achievements in various livestock and non-livestock projects.

But the Delaware State Fair is more than just a fair - it's a celebration of our community ?️ and its rich heritage. Ties to agriculture, industry, and local businesses are highlighted, paying tribute to Southern Delaware and Maryland's Eastern Shore's backbone.

Additional Opportunities

Additionally, the fair provides opportunities for other non-profit organizations to raise funds ?. We also host non-fair events throughout the year, further promoting our mission and aiding in sustaining the fairgrounds. The fairgrounds serve the community year-round, offering facilities for both public and private events.
