This year marks a special milestone as the La Crosse Rotary Lights Display celebrates 30 years of dazzling holiday magic. With over 3 million lights, the park becomes a breathtaking winter wonderland that draws nearly 130,000 visitors each year. Whether you're driving, walking, or enjoying a romantic carriage ride, this festive tradition is the perfect way to immerse yourself in the spirit of the season.

Mark Your Calendar for Opening Night

Kick off the celebration on November 29 with our highly anticipated Rotary Lights Parade at 5:00 PM, followed by the opening ceremony. The festivities don’t stop there—Santa himself will be at the park every night through December 23, ready to meet with children in his cozy Santa House.

Unmissable Highlights Include:

• All Abilities Night: On December 2, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, the park will offer a sensory-friendly experience with subdued lights and music, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the magic of Rotary Lights.
• Ugly Sweater 5K: Show off your festive flair at the “coolest race ever” on December 7 at 4:15 PM. Compete, have fun, and don your ugliest holiday sweater!
• Santa’s Reindeer & Live Nativity: Witness the magic of a live nativity scene and meet Santa’s reindeer on select nights. Check the event schedule for more details!
• Ecumenical Christmas Eve Service: Gather in the Ice Castle on Christmas Eve at 5:30 PM for a beautiful service that brings the community together in celebration.

Glide Across the Ice at the Chad Erickson Rink

If skating is your thing, don’t miss the opportunity to lace up your skates and hit the ice at the Chad Erickson Rink! Free skate rental is available on select days (weather permitting), so check our schedule for details.
