Experience the Brilliance on Friday, July 5th at 9:30 PM

Prepare for an unforgettable night as Madison, CT, lights up the sky with its annual Independence Day Fireworks. This stunning display will be launched from a barge moored just south of West Wharf, ensuring each burst of color reflects beautifully over the water. In case of inclement weather, we’ve got you covered with a rain date scheduled for Friday, July 12.

Prime Viewing Locations

Catch every shimmer and sparkle from the best seats in town at East Wharf, West Wharf, and the Surf Club beaches. These spots offer panoramic views of the fireworks, so you can enjoy every dazzling moment with family and friends.

Parking and Vehicle Guidelines

To ensure a smooth experience, please observe no-parking zones at West Wharf and Surf Club Roads. The West Wharf Beach parking lot will be cleared twice on the event day—once in the morning and once in the evening. Remember, vehicles at East Wharf Beach must remain parked until the pedestrian areas are clear. Towing will be enforced for vehicles in restricted areas at the owner’s expense.

Traffic Management and Road Closures

Anticipate closures starting at 6:30 PM on key routes like West Wharf Road (southbound) and Surf Club Road (westbound), with complete closures from 8:00 PM. After the fireworks, our dedicated police force will guide vehicles efficiently from the Surf Club in two outbound lanes towards Route 1.

Arrive Early for the Best Experience

With large crowds expected, arriving early will help you secure convenient parking and a great viewing spot. Prepare for some traffic delays, follow the guidance of posted signs and officers, and get ready to enjoy a safe, spectacular evening.
