Celebrate St. Patrick's Day 2024 in Philadelphia: A New Dawn of Hope

Join us for Philadelphia's St. Patrick's Day Parade, a vibrant celebration of Irish heritage and a long-standing tradition of civic pride. This year, we gather on Sunday, March 10, 2024—remarkably, on Daylight Saving Time, so don't forget to set your clocks ahead one hour!

Event Highlights:

Parade Mass

Start your day with spiritual reverence at the Parade Mass at 9:00 AM, celebrated by Archbishop Nelson Perez and Chaplain Father Kevin Gallagher. Held at St. Patrick's Church, 20th and Locust Streets, the mass will feature the soul-stirring music of Joe Tobin and the Philadelphia Emerald Society Pipe band, Bishop Shanahan High School Choir, and Cantor Karen Boyce McCollum.

Parade Kick-off

The parade begins at 11:00 AM sharp at 16th & JFK, winding down to 5th & Market St. Experience the spectacle of marching bands, dance groups, youth groups, and Irish associations, all coming together to celebrate our rich Irish heritage.

Can't make it to the parade route? Tune into CBS Philadelphia affiliate Philly 57 from Noon to 3:00 PM to catch live coverage. Rebroadcasts are scheduled for Friday, March 15th on CBS Philadelphia (9:00 AM to Noon) and Sunday, March 17th on Philly 57 (Noon to 3:00 PM).

This year's theme reflects our collective aspiration for renewal and hope. As Grand Marshal, Thomas J. Farrelly will lead the festivities, embodying the spirit of unity and celebration.
