Mark your calendars for a fabulous fall weekend! From October 4th to 6th, 2024, the beautiful Chris Cote's Golf Performance Center at 1401 Main Street in Portland, CT transforms into a hub of agricultural celebration. Don't miss your chance to experience this heartwarming local tradition.

Fair Schedule:

• Friday Night Festivities: 5:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Exhibits conclude at 10:00 PM)
• Super Saturday: 10:30 AM - 10:00 PM (Full day of exhibits)
• Sunday Fun Day: 10:30 AM - 6:00 PM (All exhibits must be removed by 6:00 PM)

Tickets to Fun and Learning:

• Adults: $15.00
• Golden Years (65+ with ID): $10.00
• Kids under 10: Free Admission
• Heroes’ Welcome (Active/Reserve Military with ID): Free

Where to Park:

Convenient parking available for just $5 on Rte 17A, thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Fish and Game Club of Portland.

• Marvel at Majestic Animals: Explore a wide range of animal exhibits from across Connecticut and beyond. Whether it's beef and dairy cattle, goats, sheep, rabbits, or poultry, there's a spectacle for everyone.
• Master the Art of Country Crafts: Participate in or admire the handiwork in competitive exhibits from Breads & Pastry to Flowers, Needle & Fiber Art, and much more. This is where local artisans shine!
• Contest Galore: Bring the kids for the Cutest Baby Contest, dress up your pup for the Canine Halloween Contest, or show your skill in traditional Hay Bale and Skillet Throwing Contests.
• Strength and Skill Demonstrations: Don’t miss the Horse and Oxen Drawing contests—true tests of strength and coordination.
• Engines and Excitement: Feel the rush with Mechanical Pulls and dive into the action-packed Mud Bog.
• A Showcase of State Pride: Take part in or cheer on participants in the State Baking Contest, State Quilt Contest, and State Photography Contest. There’s pride and prizes on the line!

Good to Know:

• Refreshing Beverages: Thirsty? Alcoholic drinks are available for purchase.
• Accessibility: Only service animals are permitted to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all attendees.
• Attention Exhibitors: Please plan to remove your exhibits by 6:00 PM on Sunday.
