Becky: Becky from The Hometown Explorer here with Bistro Buddy at the Spring Mega Food Truck Festival in Ledyard. We’re here with Neison from Dem Boyz Grill & Catering. So, tell us a little bit about your business and how you got started. Neison: Well, we saw a food truck for sale on the side of the road, took a chance, bought it, and decided to try cooking to see what people thought of my food. Becky: You have a lot of different things on your menu. We tried the jerk salmon today—it was amazing, by the way! What are some other things you offer? Neison: I have a shrimp po-boy that I created myself, a clam strip po-boy, fish and chips, and fresh-pressed burgers. We have a lot of really enjoyable food. Becky: And you do a lot of catering as well. What kind of events do you cater? Neison: We do any event, big or small. We handle food truck events, private parties, weddings—anything that needs catering. Becky: You’re typically parked in Bristol during the year. Where can people find you? Neison: We’re usually at 25 N St., in the Polish Club parking lot in Bristol, Tuesday through Friday, from 11 am to 7 pm. Becky: That’s awesome! Where can people find you online to learn more or contact you for catering? Neison: You can find us on Instagram at @demboyzgrill and on Facebook at Dem Boyz Grill and Catering. Becky: Awesome, Neison. Thank you so much! Neison: Thank you!
