Becky from the Hometown Explorer here with Bistro Buddy at the Sun Wine and Food Fest. We're here with Phil Long from Longevity Wines. Phil, tell us about your business and how you got started. My late wife and I started making wine in the garage for fun back in 2003. In 2008, we opened commercially in the valley. I used to give her a glass hearts on Valentine's Day, which is why there's a heart on the label. It's got grapes and hearts in the label, and it's been featured on more than 50 different TV shows. It was even one of Oprah's picks for the Chardonnay. Unfortunately, we lost her to pancreatic cancer, but before she left us, I took her with me and got her tattooed on my entire sleeve, so she's always going to be with me. Now, we're the third largest brand in our Valley, and I'm one of the largest African-American winemakers in the world. Where are you based out of? Are you in Connecticut? No, we're in the Livermore Valley in California, one of the oldest valleys in California. We're about 40 miles east of San Francisco and about 20 miles south of Napa. Do you want to highlight some of the wines that you brought with you as well? Sure, we have our Cabernet with our Blanc de Blanc sparkling. We're going to be releasing a sparkling rosé soon. We have our Rosanne Pinot Noir, and then we also have a new label, Phil Long Reserve, which we came out with a couple of years ago, kind of a higher-end wine. The Alexander Valley Reserve just got 92 points from Wine Enthusiast magazine. Awesome. Where can people find you guys online and get a hold of your wine? We're in every state, over 6,000 locations. We're even in Japan and the United Kingdom. You can go to our website, longevitywines.com, and there's a find our wine section where you can put in your ZIP code, and it'll tell you where you can find it. Thank you so much for taking the time to chat with us. Thank you, appreciate having you.
